Sticky Idea ("we", "us") is a free, ad-supported learning service. We care about privacy and collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].

What we collect

• Privacy-first analytics. We measure aggregate usage (such as page views and which ideas are popular) to improve the service. This is anonymized and not tied to your identity. We do not sell your data.
• On-device progress. Your learning progress and review schedule are stored locally on your device (browser local storage or, in the app, on-device storage). They stay on your device and are not uploaded to us.
• Email (only if you give it). If you join the app waitlist, we store your email solely to notify you at launch. You can ask us to delete it anytime.

Cookies & advertising

Sticky Idea is free because it is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including, where you consent, ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

When you first visit, our consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies (analytics and ads). If you decline, we do not set advertising cookies. In the EU/UK and similar regions, personalized ads are only enabled with your consent.

Third parties

We rely on a small number of services: Google AdSense (advertising), our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare), and privacy-respecting analytics. Each processes data only as needed to provide the service. We do not share your personal information for others to use for their own marketing.

Your choices & rights

• Accept or decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner, and change your mind by clearing your browser data.
• Opt out of personalized ads through Google Ads Settings.
• Request access to, or deletion of, any personal data we hold (such as a waitlist email) by emailing [email protected].
• Clear your on-device progress at any time from your browser or device settings.

Children

Sticky Idea is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
